Ingredients:
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup pesto sauce
- 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish optional
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375F 190C
Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and transfer to a tart pan, trimming any excess
Spread ricotta cheese evenly over the pastry
Spread pesto sauce over the ricotta
Arrange trimmed asparagus spears on top of the pesto
Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the asparagus
